Consecutive vs simultaneous
Two ways to interpret. Different clocks.
In consecutive interpreting, the speaker pauses and the interpreter renders each segment, which suits depositions, interviews, and medical visits. In simultaneous interpreting, the interpreter speaks a second or two behind the speaker, which keeps conferences and town halls on schedule.
Workforce enablement
From presence to participation
For global employers, interpreting is not a courtesy. It is how one workforce hears one message and acts on it.
The leadership message, intact
Executive communication keeps its impact and nuance in every region, so one company hears one message.
No more language lag
Interpreting built into daily operations speeds up cross-border projects, meetings, and decisions.
Everyone participates
Employees who understand and are understood contribute, lead, and stay. Interpreting turns presence into participation.

What types of interpreting services do you offer?
Five: on-site interpreting with an interpreter in the room, over-the-phone interpreting (OPI), video remote interpreting (VRI), remote simultaneous interpretation (RSI) for virtual and hybrid events, and conference interpreting with booths and equipment. We also provide ASL interpreting through our Deaf and hard-of-hearing access service.
How do I choose between on-site, phone, and video interpreting?
Choose phone interpreting for short calls and urgent needs, video when faces, gestures, or documents matter, and on-site for long, sensitive, or legal conversations and anything involving several people in a room. For events, choose remote simultaneous interpretation online and conference interpreting in person.
What is the difference between consecutive and simultaneous interpreting?
In consecutive interpreting, the speaker pauses and the interpreter renders each segment, which suits depositions, interviews, and medical visits. In simultaneous interpreting, the interpreter speaks almost at the same time as the speaker, usually from a booth or remote platform, which suits conferences, webinars, and town halls.
Which languages do you interpret?
More than 250 languages and dialects. The most requested languages are available on demand by phone and video around the clock, and rare languages can be scheduled in advance.
Are interpreters available 24/7?
Yes. Over-the-phone and video remote interpreting are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. On-site, remote simultaneous, and conference interpreting are scheduled, including evenings and weekends.
Which platforms do you support for remote interpreting?
Our remote interpreting is platform-agnostic. We work in Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and other meeting platforms, and test the setup with you before the session.
Can interpreters handle specialized subjects?
Yes. Interpreters are assigned for their subject-matter expertise, such as legal, medical, finance, technical, or government, and we share your agenda, slides, and terminology with them in advance.
Do you provide interpreters for government agencies?
Yes. Translation Excellence is a GSA contract holder, and background-checked and cleared interpreters are available for sensitive government work.
How do you keep interpreted sessions secure?
Interpreters are background-checked and bound by confidentiality agreements, remote audio is encrypted, and we follow your platform and security requirements for every session.
Tell us what’s at stake. We’ll show you how we’d handle it.
