E-learning localization
E-learning localization that teaches in every learner’s language
Compliance, safety, and onboarding courses, localized inside Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, and more, then tested in your LMS. Learners get training that reads, sounds, and works as if it were built for them.

The problem
Learners notice when a course wasn’t made for them
When training is only translated, comprehension, completion, and compliance all suffer. Take the quick check below.
Which of these are happening in your translated courses?
Select all that apply-
Buttons and menus still in English Player controls, navigation, and feedback messages built into the template are missed. Every string in the course and player is localized.
-
Text spilling off the slide Translations run longer, so text overflows its boxes and covers images. Layouts are adjusted and checked slide by slide.
-
Audio out of step with the screen Narration ends before the animation, or captions drift away from the speaker. Audio and timeline cues resynced on every slide.
-
Screenshots of English software Learners are trained on screens they will never see at work. Screenshots recreated in the localized interface.
-
Scenarios that don’t ring true Names, examples, and humor that don’t fit the learner’s culture or workplace. Scenarios adapted for each audience.
-
Quizzes that score correct answers wrong Translated answers break triggers and variables, so results and completions fail. Every quiz, trigger, and variable tested.
If you recognized even one, your learners have too. Every item above is part of how we localize a course.
What we localize
Every layer of your course, localized and working
A course is more than its slides. We localize what learners read, hear, see, and click, and make sure the course still tracks correctly.

Only have the published course? We can rebuild it from the output, or work with your developers to recover the source.
Our process
How a course is localized, lesson by lesson
Six stages take a course from source files to a tested package in every language.
-
Lesson 1
Analyze the course
We review your source files, word count, media, and interactions, and flag anything that needs engineering before translation starts.
-
Lesson 2
Translate and adapt
Linguists work in your authoring tool’s export files with your glossary, and adapt examples and scenarios for each audience.
-
Lesson 3
Record audio and captions
Native voice talent records the narration, and captions are timed to every slide.
-
Lesson 4
Rebuild and resync
Engineers import the translations, adjust layouts for longer text, and resync audio with animations and triggers.
-
Lesson 5
Review in context
A second linguist and your reviewers check the course exactly as learners will see it.
-
Lesson 6
Test in your LMS
We publish SCORM or xAPI packages and test launch, navigation, scoring, and completion before delivery.

Training that protects your organization
Training people can act on, in the language they think in
Safety, compliance, and onboarding training only protects your people and your organization if employees understand it. OSHA, for example, expects safety training to be presented in a language and vocabulary workers can understand.
- Safety and EHS trainingLockout/tagout, hazard communication, and emergency procedures.
- Compliance and ethicsCode of conduct, anti-harassment, data privacy, and anti-bribery.
- Onboarding and HRPolicies, benefits, and the first-week courses every employee takes.
- Software and systemsStep-by-step training for the tools your teams use every day.
- Sales and product enablementProduct launches, partner training, and customer education.
- Government and military educationCurriculum for agencies, academies, and international partners.

What is the difference between e-learning translation and e-learning localization?
Translation converts the words in a course. Localization makes the whole course work for a new audience: on-screen text and player controls, narration and captions, screenshots and graphics, scenarios and examples, quizzes and feedback, and the published package that runs in your LMS. A translated course can still break, lag, or confuse learners; a localized course reads, sounds, and tracks as if it were built in their language.
Can you localize Articulate Storyline and Rise 360 courses?
Yes. We work from your Storyline or Rise source files, exporting the text for translation and importing it back so triggers, variables, and layers keep working. We then adjust layouts for longer or shorter text, replace audio and captions, and republish the course. We also work with Adobe Captivate, iSpring, Lectora, Camtasia, H5P, and PowerPoint-based training.
What if we only have the published SCORM package, not the source files?
We can usually still help. Depending on the course, we can recover editable content from the published output or rebuild the course in your authoring tool. Source files are always faster and less expensive, so we will tell you which route makes sense after reviewing what you have.
Do you test the localized course in our LMS?
Yes. We publish SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, xAPI, or cmi5 packages and test launch, navigation, bookmarking, quiz scoring, and completion reporting before delivery. We can test in your own LMS or a test environment, so the course works the day you assign it.
How do you handle voiceover and captions?
Native voice talent records the narration, and you can approve the voices before recording. We resync audio with slide animations and triggers, and time captions to every slide. For lower-budget or internal courses, captions alone or AI-assisted voice reviewed by our linguists are options.
How much does e-learning localization cost?
Cost depends on the word count, the number of languages, audio minutes and voices, text in images and screenshots, the complexity of interactions, and how many LMS environments need testing. Courses with source files cost less to localize than courses that must be rebuilt. Send us your course or a sample module, and we will give you a firm quote before work begins.
How long does it take to localize a course?
Timing depends on course length, the number of languages, whether audio is included, and how many review rounds your team needs. We confirm a schedule in your quote and can localize languages in parallel or deliver modules in batches to meet a rollout date.
Do employers have to provide safety training in employees’ language?
OSHA’s training standards policy says safety training must be presented in a manner employees can understand, which includes a language and vocabulary they understand. Other regulations and agreements may apply to your workforce, so confirm your specific obligations with your legal or EHS team. We localize safety and compliance courses so every employee receives the same training.
Can we use the AI translation built into our authoring tool instead?
Built-in machine translation can produce a fast first draft of on-screen text. It does not record voiceover, recreate screenshots, adapt scenarios, check text that overflows the slide, or test the course in your LMS, and its output still needs expert review for safety, compliance, and regulated terminology. We can review and complete a machine-translated course or localize it from the start.
Tell us what’s at stake. We’ll show you how we’d handle it.
