Translation Excellence Receives HUBZone Certification
Translation Excellence has received Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) certification from the U.S. Small Business Administration, opening access to HUBZone set-aside contracts.
AURORA, CO — Translation Excellence, based in Aurora, Colorado, today announced it has received Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) certification through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Translation Excellence is a full-service language agency providing world-class language services in over 200 languages.
The HUBZone program helps small businesses in urban and rural communities gain important access to federal and state contracting opportunities. Among other requirements, the federal HUBZone program requires a firm’s principal office to be located in a HUBZone, with no less than 35% of its employees residing in HUBZones. The program was enacted into law as part of the Small Business Reauthorization Act of 1997.
